The Cavalier Track & Field team competed at ETSU last weekend, opening up their season at one of the premier indoor track facilities in the East. The meet was the first of the season for the Cavaliers, and it marked the third consecutive year that the team has run at the Niswonger Invitational. "It was a tough meet for us," said Coach Herbert. "It's early in the season and this meet allowed us to test our fitness level, see where we are at currently, and unfortunately for a lot of these guys, it was a wake-up call and a reminder of how important it is to train over break."
