Senior Captain Lauren Kelly ran her first half-marathon this Saturday at the Charlotte Race Fest, finishing in 1:36:54. Kelly, who was attempting to run a qualifying time of 1:33:00, missed in her first attempt at the standard, but may get another opportunity before the season ends. "Obviously we're disappointed that Lauren didn't qualify, but that's still a heck of a time. In fact, that would've qualified her just a few years ago, before the dropped the standard." Kelly, who has battled through injuries for the last few years, is having her best track season since joining the Cavaliers.
