[Track and Field] Hall and Adkins Shine at the National Track & Field ChampionshipsPublished by
ST. LOUIS, MO -- Montreat was represented at the NAIA National Track & Field Championships for the first time this weekend on the campus of Southern Illinois- Edwardsville, just outside St. Louis, Missouri. The Cavaliers were represented by freshman Ben Hall, Wilbourn Kosgei (So.), Arilicia Adkins (So.), and Talisa Bishop (Jr.). Montreat was led by marathoners Ben Hall and Arilicia Adkins. Both runners completed the 26.2 mile hilly course under their respected goal time, both finishing in 19th place! Hall put together a great race plan and stuck to it as he hit the half-way mark in just over one hour and 20 minutes. He went on to run the second half of the race in a faster 1:18!
