CLEMSON, S.C. — Georgia State track and field had two first-place finishers to highlight competition at the indoor season opening Orange and Purple Winter Classic on Saturday.

Following on the heels of a successful cross country season, the Georgia State track and field teams will have a chance to perform when they open the indoor schedule with a trip to the Orange and Purple Winter Classic in Clemson, S.C. on Saturday, Dec. 1.

ATLANTA — Former Winthrop thrower Travis Coleman joins the Georgia State track and field program as an assistant coach in charge of throws, multi-events and vertical jumps.
