Varnell, Ga. The SCAD Atlanta women's cross country team opened a new chapter in the program's history with a first-place tie with host Dalton State at the Twilight Cross Country Classic. By virtue of a sixth-place runner's score as the tie-breaker, Dalton State earned the victory, but it did little to dampen the high expectations of the upcoming season for SCAD Atlanta's young squad.
