Brittany Aikens and Natalie Williams were named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athletes for their outstanding academic achievement.

LAWRENCE, Kansas- The Brenau Cross Country team was represented well at the 2014 NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships as Utami Ketchem and Brittany Aikens competed against the best runners in the nation on Saturday.

Two Brenau Cross Country runners will compete at the 2014 NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships in Lawrence, Kansas on Saturday.

The Brenau Cross Country team finished in second place at the SSAC Championships in Clinton, Mississippi on Saturday and also collected numerous post-season team and individual awards.  

In a strong field of both NCAA and NAIA teams, the Brenau cross country team finished 19th out of 37 teams at the Sand Shark Invitational in Beaufort, South Carolina on Saturday. 

At the Alabama Crimson Classic, the Brenau cross country team finished in second place for their fourth straight top-three finish of the 2014 season.
